I love feedback (good and bad!). I'd like to know what you think about the appearance of the Backyard Brand Web site, the FlashHarp and Musical Combo products, the harmonica in general or anything else for that matter! Really, if there's anything you'd like to see or discuss, blow me a note.
Payment
I look forward to receiving your order and ship when I receive payment through PayPal (Illinois residents please note, 9.25% sales tax will be added to your invoice).
Note, the Argentinean Peso, Brazilian Reais, and Malaysian Ringgit are PayPal-restricted currencies. Buyers from these countries must convert sufficient funds from their country's currency into dollars in advance at the local bank that funds their PayPal account. These converted funds can then be used to pay for your order. If this prior step is not taken and you place an order from within any of these countries, your PayPal payment will not transact and the order will be cancelled.
Shipping
If there is any issue about your ship-to address, I will contact you for confirmation of the desired ship-to address. If no response, I ship to the provided PayPal address. I use U.S. Post Office First Class unless your order size bumps the weight up to a level at which Priority makes more sense. International customers, please include phone number for Customs declaration form (Completing the CN 22 form actually helps assure that the item/s move quickly through Customs. Please be aware if any extra duty is assessed at your border, you, the buyer, will be responsible for it). So far, I've had no trouble with this method AT ALL. Contact me if you have special shipping requests. Expedited shipping can be arranged for an additional cost. If you would like this service, please write a note in the Message to Seller when you check out. I will send you an invoice from PayPal for the additional service. I may use recycled materials for packing.
Refunds and Exchanges
FlashHarp's return policy extends 30 days from date of purchase, except on personalized items (personalized items are nonreturnable). FlashHarp is packaged inside a two-part plastic box with a label on top that seals the harmonica inside. To keep the FlashHarp's Return Policy in effect, DO NOT SEPARATE THE TWO BOX HALVES OR BREAK THE OUTER LABEL SEAL. Returns will not be accepted if the plastic box’s label-seal is broken.
If you believe a return is necessary, contact me immediately to request a Return Authorization Number. Returns will not be accepted if a Return Authorization Number is not obtained and written on the outside of the shipping box.
Returned items do not include the cost of shipping and must be returned from the original ship-to address. Further, the FlashHarp, its USB connector and the product's box-label all must be intact and undamaged.
Returns are not accepted for personalized items or products that have been used (whose label-seal is open or damaged) or which do not include a Return Authorization Number. Product that is opened (i.e., could have made contact with someone’s lips) cannot be returned.
Additional Policies and FAQs
My EasyAdd approach is now the standard for all Personalized FlashHarp pieces. Personalization may be applied by me, or, post-purchase, by FlashHarp buyers or recipients. Self-application by buyer is understood in those cases when: 1) a Personalized item is purchased but no text is supplied by buyer, and 2) when Personalization text is requested but not purchased. In these cases, I will query the purchaser at the email address provided to complete the necessary step(s). Should there be no response to my queries after 48 hours, I will ship the piece without Personalization assuming that customer wishes to self-apply an EasyAdd Personalization message, later. (See also the description of Personalization on the Home page.)
